I am currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preceptor for an upcoming clinical rotation beginning mid-March. This rotation requires 125 outpatient clinical hours with adult patients (18 and older) experiencing chronic psychiatric conditions, where I can participate in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and follow-up care. I am hoping to work with a provider who manages a diverse adult psychiatric population such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring conditions. An outpatient setting that allows for active learning, patient interaction, and exposure to comprehensive psychiatric care would be ideal.
