NPC Meeting

There is a plan to hold a reorganization meeting at the Marriott Miami Airport Hotel on Saturday 06/15/2013 from 0900 until about 1100. The hotel is just south of the SR 836 – airport expressway on the east side of Lejeune Road. We will meet in the restaurant where they will have a “private area” for us to meet and talk. They also offer a fabulous breakfast buffet until 1200, for less than $20.00All attendees must self-pay for the buffet, is you intend to eat. The hotel has agreed to provide us with parking discounts. The self-park price is about $5.00 and will hopefully be significantly less with the discount parking authorization.

Hopefully, some interested nurses will attend and help plan the future direction and leadership of the Advanced Practice Council of Miami-Dade. Participation is open to any ARNP who is a resident of Miami-Dade County and is interested in our political and educational agendas. Please invite colleagues who might be interested in the work of this group. All are welcome.

I am asking that all people who are interested in attending the planning meeting to please send me an email and announce their intention to attend. I need to be able to plan according to how many will be attending. If there are more than 12 folks, I will need to reserve a different area. Reservations should be emailed to me (dlittle@fiu.edu) on or before Tuesday, 06/11/2013 at 1600. I will then notify the hotel.
